Itatiba

Itatiba is a municipality in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. The population in 2004 is 91,228 and the area is 323.38 km². The elevation is 750 m. This place name comes from the Tupi Guarani language, and means "Many Rocks". It is considered to be the town with the highest levels of oxygen in the air in the whole world. It used to be the furniture capital of Brazil.
